Is Your Water Polluted?

Fact 1: There are 22 kinds of pollutants including heavy metals, leads, arsenic, etc., existing in drinking water.
Fact 2:

Hundreds of pollutants can't be controlled and no every pollutant can be tested out.

Fact 3:

Your drinking water may contain the pollutants; germs, asbestos, lead, radio active minerals, particles and industrial scraps, animal waste, virus, microbes etc.

Fact 4:

There are now thousands of chemical compounds containing toxin and new chemical compounds will be invented and used every year.  these chemical compounds will pollute the ground and under ground water.  And some of these chemical compounds intruding into the drinking water have been approved as the cause of variety of diseases.

Selection and Comparison Of Drinking Water:

1 Reverse Osmosis Purification
  • Removes 99% of all the Total Dissolved Solids, such as, heavy- metals, bacteria and viruses from the Tap Water.
  • No need to boil water - Energy saving.
  • The water is rich in Oxygen which is good for our blood.
  • Water is sweet and tasty.
  • Pure water costs less than 50 Paise per Litre, when made in house.
2 The Bottled Water
  • Quality isn't certain
  • Sanitation is questionable.
  • Price isn't cheap.
  • Costs about Rs. 2 per Litre!
  • Inconvenient depending on outside source.
  • Fear of pesticide in water.
3 Boiled Water
  • Energy wasted in heating.
  • Can only kill germs.
  • Quickens the reaction of organic substances and chlorine in the water to produce tri-alkalic ethane.
  • While boiling water, steam boils and the polluted density in the water increases.
  • Salt deposit of chemicals in the vessel.
4 Distilled Method
  • High power cost and energy wasting for long-term use.
  • No oxygen in the water and bad taste.
  • Maintenance is often required, It's more cumbersome.
  • Organic volatile matters such as tri-alkalic methane can't be eliminated.
5 Softener Ion Exchange Method, Electrolysis Ion Water De-Mineralization
  • High operating cost.
  • Professional maintenance needed.
  • Only heavy metals can be eliminated, but there is a lot of chemical left, that can result in heart/blood vessels diseases or hypertension.  Most of organic compounds and germs can't also be eliminated.
  • Water does not taste good.
6 Active Carbon Filtration
  • Quality isn't certain, uniform and its efficiency has big differences.
  • Germs, heavy metals, asbestos, nitrate and salt can't be eliminated.
  • Becomes a growing place for germs.
  • Suitable for odour removal and taste.
  • Effective as a pre treatment or post treatment.
7 UV Sterilisation
  • Only germs can be killed.  Its effect is no better than boiling water.
  • High cost.  Lamp tube must be replaced/cleaned in every 3 or 6 months for effective sterilisation.
  • Pollutants can't be eliminated except germs killing.
  • Does not remove chemicals and heavy metals.
  • Hard water makes the UV lamp ineffective by scaling.
  • Taste of water doesn't change.

LIKE MOST OF THE PEOPLE, YOU MAY BE THINKING YOUR DRINKING WATER HAS NO PROBLEM!!!

Generally people have the following impression on running water as detailed below:

  • The running water is pure, clean, healthy and can be safely drunk!
  • The equipment of the running water can eliminate all pollutants!
  • The government understands what particles exists in the running water and thoroughly inspects them to assure safety!
